I read the journal above and I thought that using art to help save the cheetah, by raising awareness about it being endangered, was a really great idea.
It is not that many days ago that I read about it, so since I didnt have much time I put every other WIP I had aside, and started on this piece right away.

As I have never drawn a cheetah before, I started by studying their anatomy and proportions, so I browsed through quite a few images. During that I came across this beautiful picture, which inspired me to use the colors I used and the plane background: [link]

I wanted my cheetah to really show off the cheetahs features, so I gave her a slim body, thick chest, a thin neck and lowered her shoulders a bit.

omg i could have sworn (again!) that it`s a real picture!
wonderful job...if I had your talent and skill I swear I wouldn`t have to work a day in my life! (i`d just paint and paint and do comissions and web design lol)
